At the invitation of CURA Centro Umbro Residenze Artistiche, we carried out an artistic, human and culinary research that had the ambition to reweave links between the earth and human beings in an area affected by the earthquake.
We started from the human, from the recipes of Sant'Anatolia and we found an extraordinary heritage of stories and practices related to local wild plants. How does the land "feed" us? What interactions exist between humans and plants in a village like Sant'Anatolia? How can a territory project participate in a process of "healing" in sensitive areas affected by natural disasters? These are some of the questions that have been our compass during our investigation. The process ended with a collective banquet and a journey of poetic-culinary portraits, inspired by a precious herbarium discovered on site.
